Our Approach & What to Expect on Your First Visit

The approach to the Physiotherapy consultation may vary slightly depending upon the specific need of client but here is a general outline of what you can typically expect on your first visit of  Physiotherapy consultation:

Consultation and assessment:

Your Physiotherapy session typically begins with a consultation. The therapist will ask you about your medical history, any specific issues or areas of discomfort you’re experiencing, and your goals for the session, such as pain relief or increased mobility.

Discussion of expectations:

You’ll have the opportunity to choose your preferred modality and therapeutic approach according to your desire and comfort, including the level of pressure you’re comfortable with and any specific areas you’d like the therapist to focus on.

Therapy

Once you’re with the therapist the treatment will include deep tissue massage, compression therapy, electro-therapy, IASTM, chiropractic adjustment, mobilization, dry needling, electric dry cupping, percussion therapy and PNF stretching to make sure that the root cause is being treated focusing on your demand.

Communication:

Throughout the session, the therapist will encourage open communication. It’s important to provide feedback on the pressure and any discomfort you may feel. The therapist will adjust their techniques based on your feedback to ensure your comfort and safety.

"Paris was amazing! He is very skilled and attentive, tailored the session to my issues and checked in regularly to make sure the pressure was okay. His aftercare tips were brilliant too and he was very friendly and approachable. I’ve had tight shoulders for year and this was hands down the best massage for them I’ve ever had! I will be returning and couldn’t recommend Paris enough!"
