Hitanshu
The Founder & The Therapist
Hitanshu is the founder of Swedish Sports Massage and Releef, with a unique background combining engineering, nutrition, and manual therapy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from New York, a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science from the University of Leeds, and a Master’s degree in Nutrition, and is currently training to become a Functional Medicine Practitioner. His journey into therapy began when he moved to Leeds for his Food Science studies and completed Level 3 and Level 4 Sports Massage qualifications to support himself financially.
His passion for helping people in pain led him to undertake further training with an osteopath to advance his hands-on treatment skills. Today, Hitanshu specialises in treating musculoskeletal pain using deep tissue therapy, soft tissue techniques, joint mobilisation, and personalised rehabilitation. His goal is to not only relieve symptoms but to address the underlying causes of pain and improve long-term movement and wellbeing.

Paris
Physiotherapist
Paris is a highly skilled and HCPC-registered physiotherapist with an in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. His clinical expertise enables him to assess and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck pain, shoulder injuries, knee problems, and lower back pain. At Releef, both therapists share a holistic and hands-on approach, focusing not only on relieving symptoms but also identifying and addressing the root cause of pain. Every treatment is individually tailored to the client’s needs, lifestyle, and recovery goals. Their approach combines advanced manual therapy techniques, including myofascial release, soft tissue therapy, PNF stretching, joint mobilisation, and spinal manipulation where appropriate. This is supported by personalised rehabilitation exercises designed to restore strength, improve mobility, and prevent the recurrence of pain. With a combination of clinical knowledge and expert hands-on treatment, they aim to help every client move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they love.

Amelia

Her focus is on providing effective treatment in a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable throughout their recovery journey. By combining practical experience, sports therapy techniques, and personalised rehabilitation plans, Amelia aims to help every client reduce pain, improve movement, and return to the activities they enjoy with confidence.

Niraja

Combining clinical experience with advanced training in Sports Exercise & Therapy, she takes an evidence-based approach to treatment, helping individuals return to peak performance through personalised rehabilitation and manual therapy.
Her treatment philosophy focuses on understanding the root cause of pain rather than simply managing symptoms. She combines hands-on techniques with tailored exercise programmes to improve strength, mobility, and long-term function. Niraja works with a wide range of clients, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals dealing with everyday musculoskeletal aches and pains. She is passionate about empowering her clients with the knowledge and tools needed to maintain their recovery and prevent future injuries.
